Thursday evening classes are back, starting 9/7

7:15pm Open level Vinyasa,

-Ali’s Monday Creative Basics is moving to 10am, starting 9/9

New Fall Class Offerings:

-We have a new (and we think really fun) Friday evening class…
Yin/ Yang Fridays with Kristy and Alexa starts 9/15
and runs weekly from 6-7pm.

This class offer a perfect weekly wind-down with alternating weeks of Yin Yoga with Kristy and Yang Vinyasa w/ Alexa.
Check schedule for specific class and teacher.

-We are adding a second session of Strong and Steady with Gem
on Wednesday nights, starting, 9/27 from 6-7pm.

This is a wonderful slow and meditative flow class with modifications for everyone. It will not only steady the mind but increase stamina and stability in the body.

Yoga Sol Kids Fall, 2017 Class Schedule


Mommy and Me (newborn- crawler) 

On-going class, no registration necessary- 
$20 drop-in- Mondays, 2-3pm, with Alexa Wolkoff RYT, LCSW

New moms come together in an emotionally supportive environment for both
themselves and their babies. Poses an are focused around the changes taking place in their bodies, and nervous systems, postpartum.
The babies love the interactive poses with their moms and have the start of early socialization with the other babies.

Young Budding Yogis
(co-ed Yoga and Mindfulness for ages 4-6) 

Mondays 3:30-4:15or 4:30- 5:15pm
12 classes-begins 9/18   with Erin Trapasso, CYT Little Flower Yoga

Children will develop body awareness through basic yoga poses and will acquire the tools for self-regulation and centering through mindfulness.

The practice will take place in a safe and compassionate environment.

The methodology is inspired by Little Flower Yoga, founded locally in Croton-on-Hudson.

Budding Yogis (co-ed Yoga and Mindfulness for ages 7-9 yrs) 

Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30pm 12 classes, begins 9/19
Fridays, 3:30-4:30pm 10 classes, begins 9/29

with Kristy Cohen CYT- Little Flower Yoga   

Students learn how everyday physical, mental and emotional challenges can be recognized and managed through the use of yoga poses, breathwork and visualization.

The methodology is inspired by Little Flower Yoga, founded locally in Croton-on-Hudson.

Tween Yoga and Mindfulness  (girls 10-14 yrs)

Thursdays, 4:30- 5:30pm 11 classes, begins 9/28
with Cathy Anfiteatro, RYT 

Tween stress is becoming more widely understood and common. Participating in a yoga practice can help teens relieve this stress, explore who they are, and provide a positive influence of themselves and their bodies for the rest of their lives.
Tween yoga classes will offer tools to guide students in self exploration, provide ways to handle stress, anger, anxiety, depression and other challenges facing this transitional time from child to teenager.

Teen Yoga and Mindfulness  (girls 15-18 yrs)

 Tuesdays, 5-6pm 11 classes, begins 9/26
with Cathy Anfiteatro, RYT

This class helps teens build the groundwork to live a healthy lifestyle.
In this safe and non-competitive space teens will find a complement to their busy academic and extracurricular schedule. It will help connect them with the world around them as well as get to know themselves better.

The class provides a fun, nurturing environment- leaving them refreshed and ready for the challenges of the being a teenager in the modern world.

Young Warriors- Yoga and Mindfulness
(boys 10-14 yrs)

      Wednesdays, 3:15-4pm 12 classes, begins 9/20
with Argos Gonzalez, CYT Little Flower Yoga

A fun and challenging yoga class that meets tween boys right where they are. Laughter and energy are highly encouraged!

The focus is on feeling good in your body and understanding how that leads to feeling good about yourself in every way. The boys build strength, balance and flexibility while they learn breathing and stillness techniques to help calm the senses.
