PRESENTATIONS:   Nomination of Mr Vincent Matero of Croton for the Veterans Hall of Fame.




  1. Kevin Dolan of the New York Power Authority regarding electricity rates. Mr. Dolan is announcing that the Village will have a decrease in the Production portion of its electric bill for 2013.
  2. Gregory Schmidt, President, Rotary Club of Croton-on-Hudson; re: Rotary Annual Car Show. The Rotary Club is requesting use of the Railroad station parking lot for its Annual Fall Car Show on Sunday, September 30.  Proceeds  are used to support various local organizations such as the Food Bank, Little League, Croton Seniors and the new High School Internet Club.
  3. Greg Ball, Senator, New York State Senate; re: hydrofracking. Senator Ball has introduced legislation to have a one year moratorium on hydrofracking (S6261) and another bill (S5879) that  requires accountability for companies who utilize this process.
  4. Mae Carpenter, Commissioner, Westchester County, Dept. of Senior Programs and Services; re: nominations for the 30thAnnual Westchester Senior Citizens Hall of Fame.   Nominations are requested for local seniors, over 60, who have made significant and lasting contributions to improve life in Westchester and have been an outstanding leader or advocate.
  5. Michael P. Anderson, P.E., Tappan Zee Hudson river Crossing Project Environmental Impact Statement; re: Final Environmental Impact Statement.  The FEIS for this proposed project is available for review at The FEIS examines potential environmental effects of proposed alternatives for the Tappan Zee Bridge Hudson River Crossing Project.
